Danielle, creator and knitter extraordinaire, feels a sense of accomplishment in every dog she knits. Danielle is an example of “playing the hand you are dealt.” Just like Henry and Tink, she lives with limitations. In spite of Traumatic Brain Injury, she still finds wonderful ways to contribute to humans and animals. She now belongs to something greater than herself and feels the continuing legacy passed to her father from her grandfather, and now to her.
